Our Favorite Online Vintage Home Shops to Score One-of-a-Kind Finds
We love the thrill of the hunt at weekend antique markets — there’s nothing quite like discovering a treasure just itching to be taken to its forever home. That said, it’s not an easy process. Early morning call times, dust-covered everything, sifting and sorting through hundreds of items before you find the one… it often feels like professional antique hunters are the only ones who score the really good finds. But there are actually tons of places you can shop for vintage pieces and antiques online. For many of us, shopping for vintage while tucked in bed with a cup of coffee is much more enjoyable than rising at the crack of dawn to brave the endless aisles of antique markets.
With many antique festivals cancelled or postponed until next year due to COVID-19, now is a better time than ever to support these businesses who heavily rely on in-person shopping to pay the bills and keep their shops alive and thriving.
Since the pandemic, many antique dealers across the country have since taken their shops online to get their inventory out there, and we couldn’t be more happy to support them and find some gems for our own homes that we would otherwise miss out on.
Whether you’re looking for a vintage Eames chair, beautiful Turkish rugs, art to add to your gallery wall, or an unusual knickknack that you’ll know is perfect when you see it, here are our favorite online vintage shops to help your home achieve its own special style, while supporting some great small businesses and antique dealers in the process.

Everything from Danish chairs to a French dining table to a Swedish anatomical poster — all rooted in the past — can be found at Eneby Home. Owned by Doug and Carina Jenkins in Nashville Tennessee, these talented dealers specialize in European pieces primarily from Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and France. Known for the quality of their goods and their fair pricing, Eneby Home has become a resource in antiques, modern and vintage furnishings for designers and high-end retail stores. The majority of their business is done with designers, but anyone and everyone is welcome to shop their amazing storefront, their website, or their swoon-worthy pieces on 1stDibs.
Nomadic Trading Company is a Durham, North Carolina based vintage and antique dealer that’s been hand selecting one-of-a-kind items from around the world since 1995. Staying true to progressive vintage design concepts, they specialize in reclaimed, hand-woven rugs, vintage furniture, repurposed industrial lighting, as well as other practical decorative items for home and commercial projects.
Located just north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana The Corbel specializes in preserving the best of the past by reclaiming and utilizing antique doors, antique wide plank flooring, and assorted architectural salvage. They have amazing items stashed everywhere over their 10,000 square feet warehouse, and also specialize in unique lighting, furnishings and unique decor for your home.
This quaint shop based in Bruges, Belgium serves everything from low range decorative antiques to high quality and rare design objects. Ran by third generation dealer Pieter Verschaeve, the business runs through his veins as he trots around the globe showcasing his beautiful pieces. I had the chance to meet Pieter at the Fall antique festival in Round Top, TX a couple years ago, and have loved following along his journey to finding beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces ever since, which he regularly promotes on his Instagram as well.
For over two decades, Jayson Home has been scouring the globe in search of modern and vintage furnishings and accessories designed to inspire. Edgy yet elegant. Sophisticated but never stuffy. Timeless but always of the moment. These are their guideposts for collecting an ever-evolving mix of modern day and one-of-a-kind vintage furniture, tableware, lighting, candles, books, pillows, textiles and more. Over the years, they’ve grown from their landmark Chicago shop to include an online store that I could seriously browse for hours — they even have an online catalog that I love flipping through for inspiration and to see what new unique products they’ve added to their inventory, which is constantly changing. Jayson Home has everything you didn’t even know you needed — the fun ‘Vintage Curiosities’ category on their site is full of delightfully unique items that will satisfy your flea market fix right from your living room.
A local favorite here in Austin, Texas, Vintage Fresh was born in 2015 out of love for modern design and all things vintage. While days spent refinishing thrift-store dressers in owner Leslie’s garage started long before Vintage Fresh came to be, the brick and mortar shop enabled her to share her passion for vintage furniture and bold, bright colors in a way that is thoughtfully curated and carefully refinished. The storefront in Austin and the online shop features beautiful refurbished furniture and unique pieces, as well as home decor, gifts, and other vintage finds. Local Austinites (and online shoppers alike), put this gem of a shop on your shopping radar this Holiday season — you can find so many one-of-a-kind pieces for just about anyone on your gift list.
Although Sunday Shop in the Big Easy offers more modern fare furniture and textiles than the others on this list, we had to include it in the roundup as it’s one of our favorite goto’s for all things home — unique decor, charming nicknacks, and timeless art pieces fill the walls of this beautiful shop that we could spend well, every Sunday at, blissfully browsing and daydreaming with a mimosa in hand. Their Instagram feed always gives us major heart eyes and continues to be a regular source of inspiration for how to beautifully and tactfully mix the old with the new as I continue to design my own home.
LD Shoppe is the retail store of Leclair Decor, a husband and wife owned residential design firm based out of Ottawa, Canada. The duo’s rapidly growing decorating and design business turned into a brick and mortar store in 2017 to showcase their favorite products from craftsmen and artists around the world. Think of LD Shoppe as your local mom and pop shop, of the internet. Their products feature items that will help make your home well designed, stylish via practical long lasting furniture, rugs, art, lighting, and decor.
If your eyes are looking for some rare and important décor candy, 1st Dibs is the spot for you. Not to mention, it gets the endorsement from design gurus such as Kelly Wearstler, Dian von Furstenberg, and Marc Jacobs. Focusing on aggregating professionals’ collections of vintage goods, you can easily search through retailers of gorgeous vintage furniture, lighting, rugs, and pretty much anything and everything you could imagine from across the globe, without leaving your couch.
Last but certainly not least, we couldn’t round up a list of our favorite vintage furniture dealers without including those on Etsy — the global marketplace that has been connecting shoppers with artists and their unique goods for years. Etsy is hands down one of the best spots to find vintage furniture from all around the world, and I love that you can chat with the owners one on one through the site as if you were shopping in their actual store. Since the site houses thousands of dealers with a wide variety of items, you can search for just about anything (including keywords, if you aren’t sure exactly what you may want but know the style, color, texture, or vibe of what you’re looking for.) While it gives you global access, you can also search by region if you want to avoid shipping fees to find your perfect anything.
Here’s a list of my favorite goto vintage shops on Etsy:
CollectionIt in Champigny-sur-Marne, France
CollectionIt will help you add modernist Parisian flair to your home. We are very much fans of this sophisticated French boutique.
Brass House in Detroit, Michigan
This charming Detroit-based shop offers a well-curated selection of beautiful vintage wares, both large- and small-scale. Midcentury modern enthusiasts will be amazed at the ample selection of authentic furniture that still sports great condition.
Our Vintage Bungalow in Wichita, Kansas
Our Vintage Bungalow is one of my favorite shops to find unique gifts and accessories to spruce up bookshelves, etc. They also have beautiful vintage chairs, bookshelves, funky 19th century art, and all sorts of unique items to add a vintage, well-collected feel to your home.
Lamp and Co in Moret-sur-Loing, France
This French shop is a lighting and décor enthusiast’s goldmine, with items sourced from the 1930s through the 1980s. They also have a fantastic collection of rattan goods as well. Swoon!
Nar Mag in Sofia, Bulgaria
This Bulgarian dealer has an eclectic vintage mixture of home goods that will give your space a well-traveled global edge. I love browsing their delightful home decor, non-mainstream gifts, collectibles, curiosities, antiques, pieces of nostalgia… truly beautiful and timeless pieces for all.
