GUCCI PLACES: THE BRAND NEW TRAVEL APP BY GUCCI

After the wanderlust-inspired summer collections created by the houses Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton which managed to travel us around the world from the Far East, to the nomadic west and ancient Greece with their amazing haute couture creations and the matching travel-inspired runways, this fall it is Gucci’s turn to take up the role of the haute travel guide, inviting us to explore some of the world finest corners.

How? Through its new travel app launching online this September!

Τhe ‘Gucci Places’ app, is the brand new travel application of the Italian house – based on an innovative idea by Alessandro Michele – Gucci’s Creative Director since 2015. The app features travel guides and rare details for important sites all around the world which are directly linked with the brand’s history throughut the years.

Besided featuring a lot of historic details, the app will feature a check-in option with rewards such as badges, images and unknown details for the brand’s history and its connection with the locations. Τhe first Gucci Place tobe featured in the app is Chatsworth House at Derbyshire in Great Britain – the shooting spot of the 2017 Cruise Collection of the house.

The launching followed yet another surprise, with the house presenting Gucci Courrier – a brandnew capsule collection with accessories such as phone cases and bags embelished with the Chatsworth House house emblem – a snake and a crown – as well as the logo of the app; everything combining the travel mood with the Italian finesse of Gucci!
