GoPro Hero 9 Black overview
With whole new software updates and more improved stabilization, Go Pro recently launched Hero 9 Black edition on 16th September.
The flagship series of Go Pro, Go Pro Hero 9 Black was recently released and it boasts whole new software, software upgrades and improved stabilization. The new camera takes a top place in the list of Go Pro’s that have been released in the past and features higher resolution sensors, large battery, removable lens cover and front-facing LCD Display.
The updated version of the Hero Line of Go Pro, the new Go Pro is compatible with Go Pro Mods that were released previously and also supports Max Lens Mod.
The features of Hero 9 Black include a new 23.6 MP image sensor which is powered by GP1 processor and the processor is continued with the previous model. The camera can record videos up to 5K of 30fps and can capture images up to 20MP. The hero 9 black has large battery compared to Hero 8 Black which is helpful to record longer videos, Go Pro says that the new Hero 9 Black can record 30% of more videos compared to its previous version. Due to its host of new updates, the new Go Pro is slightly heavier compared to its previous models.
Featuring a whole new list of new software and software upgrades, Go Pro Hero 9 black includes HyperSmooth 3.0 which has improved stabilization and has an ability to use Boost mode in all the resolution up to 5k. The upgraded TimeWarp 3.0 feature now lets you record hyper-lapse videos in real-time speed and half-speed in slow motion effect.
The new feature in Hero 9 black includes a simple tap on the display which enables the camera to perform horizon levelling within the camera.
Like we said in the beginning, Go Pro Mods can be used for the new Go Pro Hero 9 Black, you can remove the lens cover and can swap for the new Max Lens mod. The mod is set to offer a much wider field of view and can take advantage of Max HyperSmooth stabilization.
The new Go Pro is a rugged and waterproof suitable action camera which supports water depth of 10m. It supports single MicroSD card and has USB Type-C port for charging. The camera continues to have the foldable mounting fingers that we first saw on the Hero8 Black.
Go Pro Hero 9 Black will be released around late October and will be priced at INR 49,500. Go pro said that they will be launching the new Media Mod for the Hero 9 Black which is said to improve microphone with a foam cover for Wind-Noise suppression and also weather resistant.
